Tea Journey
Poster Design
This project maps the places teenagers frequently visit throughout my city, drawing from both personal memories and the shared experiences of growing up as a high school student. By revisiting these familiar locations, the project explores the relationship between physical spaces and youth culture.
The project investigates how certain places become meaningful landmarks during adolescence. It explores why teenagers are drawn to these spaces, whether because of social trends, convenience, cultural significance, or simply the people they meet there.
More importantly, it reflects on how these everyday locations foster connection, community, and a sense of belonging. Through mapping these spaces, the project revisits a shared culture of youth and uncovers the places where young people created memories, formed relationships, and felt that they belonged.
Youth Culture Map: Taipei
Map Design
Taipei explores the places, trends, and social spaces that shape the experiences of young people in Taipei. Drawing from research and personal perspectives, the project maps locations frequently visited by the youth generation, including night markets, Camera Street, music venues, shopping districts, and riverside parks.
Using bold colors, simple graphic shapes, and handwritten typography, the map captures the energy, spontaneity, and individuality of youth culture. Beyond documenting physical locations, the project explores how fashion, music, lifestyle trends, and shared social experiences influence where young people gather and how they build a sense of belonging.
At a stage of life defined by testing, searching, and constant change, youth are continuously exploring their identities. This project offers a broader perspective on Taipei's social and cultural landscape by visualizing the spaces where young people experiment, connect, and discover who they are.
